Tina Tran, Outreach Coordinator
University of Washington, Seattle Early – Childhood & Family Studies
Tina has been involved with Seeds of Peace for 10+ years, working to provide safe spaces for young people in Pierce County. She has been instrumental in building the ELO Summer Program, which was created in partnership with Tacoma Housing Authority and Greentrike.
Siryntra Petersen, Program Coordinator
Student, University of Washington, Tacoma – Psychology
Siryntra has been with Seeds of Peace for 10+ years, helping to bring resources and support to youth across Pierce County. She plans to put her youth development and advocacy experience to work in the educational community.
Suorsdey Sou, Events Coordinator
Student, University of Washington, Seattle – Public Global Health
Suorsdey has been involved with Seeds of Peace for 10+ years, giving back to her community and helping to create safe, equitable spaces for young people. She hopes to take the experience she has in the youth development and advocacy space to the healthcare world.
Fahren Johnson, SoP Founder and CEO
CEO, Amara
Fahren is a Tacoma native who has worked in youth development for over 20 years. She is a passionate advocate for children and youth and seeks to ensure all young people—starting with those who have been impacted by systemic racism—have equitable access to out-of-school time opportunities. In 2011 she founded Seeds of Peace at First Creek Middle School. She is currently the chief executive officer at Amara.
